HEIDSTAR at the 21st National Cytopathology Conference of the Chinese Medical Association, June 9–11, 2023

From June 9 to 11, 2023, the 21st National Cytopathology Conference of the Chinese Medical Association opened in Wuhan. The conference featured special lectures on cervical cytology, non-gynecological exfoliative cytology, fine-needle aspiration cytology and the use of artificial intelligence in cervical cancer screening.

Heidstar Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. exhibited its digital pathology slide scanner at the conference and attracted strong interest and many inquiries from pathologists, medical-instrument experts, distributors and peers from across China.

The pathology slide scanning system combines optics, automation, software and image processing to scan slides quickly, stably and fully automatically. It stitches glass slides into whole-slide digital images that support AI-assisted analysis, greatly reducing the workload of pathologists.
