Digital Cytopathology and Cervical Cancer Screening (TCT)

Cytopathology studies individual cells: liquid-based cytology (TCT) for cervical cancer screening, non-gynecological exfoliative cytology and fine-needle aspiration (FNA).

In cervical screening, digital scanning lets laboratories scan TCT slides, upload the images and review them remotely or with AI-assisted screening software. This helps high-volume screening programs work faster and more consistently.

HEIDSTAR brightfield scanners (HDS-MSCAN-120A/200A/240A, NMPA-registered) digitize cytology slides with auto focus and multi-layer (Z-stack) scanning, so cells at different depths are captured. HDScanner software provides a Socket + JSON interface for connecting scanners to your own or third-party software, including AI platforms.
