Digital Pathology Scanning for Histopathology (H&E and IHC)

Histopathology examines the structure and cell morphology of stained tissue sections. H&E staining (hematoxylin colors nuclei blue, eosin colors cytoplasm and extracellular matrix pink) is the basis of routine diagnosis, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) adds specific markers.

HEIDSTAR brightfield digital pathology scanners HDS-MSCAN-120A, HDS-MSCAN-200A and HDS-MSCAN-240A hold 128, 200 or 240 slides and turn glass slides into whole-slide images at 0.28 µm/pixel (20X objective), with auto focus and image stitching. A 15 × 15 mm area is scanned in 30 seconds or less at 20X, and slides can be added while the scanner is running. All three models hold China NMPA medical device registration (闽械注准20222220152).

For low volumes, teaching or remote consultation, the compact 4-slide HDS-MSCAN-4N is available. All scanners can be supplied under your own brand through our OEM/ODM service.
