Stem Cell Culture Imaging and Monitoring

Monitoring stem-cell cultures means imaging the same cells repeatedly to follow morphology, growth and differentiation.

The HEIDSTAR inverted fluorescence microscope imaging system HDS-IX73-ST4-F-A0, built on an Olympus IX73, images cells in culture vessels from below. Its motorized XY stage returns to the same positions with 2 µm repeat positioning accuracy, and HDScanner software provides auto focus, brightfield and multi-channel fluorescence acquisition, supporting stem-cell culture, tissue-regeneration and cell-tracking research.
